1. Agreement Overview

 

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) set out the basis on which P30 Properties Ltd t/a Worcestershire Self Storage (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) provides self-storage space (“the Unit”) to the Customer (“you”, “your”).

1.2 By proceeding with a purchase or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Licence of Storage Unit

 

2.1 You are granted a licence to occupy the Unit for storage purposes only; no tenancy or exclusive possession is created.

2.2 The Unit remains our property at all times.

2.3 You may not assign, sub-let, or transfer this Agreement without written consent.

 

3. Term and Payments

 

3.1 The minimum term is six (6) months. Thereafter, the Agreement continues monthly until terminated under Clause 8.

3.2 Standard monthly rent is £180, payable in advance on or before the due date.

3.3 Discounts apply if payment is made in advance:

 • 5 % off for 6 months paid upfront (£1,026 total)

 • 7.5 % off for 12 months paid upfront (£1,998 total)

3.4 No deposit is required.

3.5 Late payment: if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, a 5 % monthly interest charge will apply.

3.6 If payment remains unpaid for 3 months, we may deny access and dispose of or sell goods to recover unpaid rent and costs.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

 

4.1 You are responsible for:

 (a) providing your own padlock and keeping the Unit secure;

 (b) insuring your goods—our insurance does not cover your items;

 (c) ensuring the Unit is kept clean and free from waste;

 (d) notifying us of any damage, leaks, or issues immediately.

4.2 You must not store:

 • flammable, hazardous, toxic, illegal, or explosive materials

 • perishable or living goods

 • items emitting odour or attracting pests

 • cash, securities, or valuables exceeding reasonable domestic value

 

5. Access and Security

 

5.1 The site is fully fenced, gated, and monitored by CCTV.

5.2 You will receive a personal gate access code; it must not be shared.

5.3 Access is permitted only during published access hours or as otherwise agreed.

5.4 We may restrict access temporarily for maintenance, security, or safety reasons.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

 

6.1 We do not accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to goods stored in the Unit except where caused by our proven negligence.

6.2 Our total liability to you is limited to the total rent paid under this Agreement.

6.3 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

 

7. Indemnity

 

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against all claims, costs, or damages arising from your breach of this Agreement or from the storage of prohibited or dangerous goods.

 

8. Termination

 

8.1 Either party may terminate the Agreement by giving three (3) months’ written notice via email.

8.2 Upon termination, you must remove all goods and leave the Unit clean and free of debris.

8.3 Failure to vacate on time may result in continued rent charges and disposal of goods.

 

9. Non-Payment and Disposal

 

9.1 If rent remains unpaid for three months, we may treat goods as abandoned and:

 (a) deny access to the Unit,

 (b) remove goods for sale or disposal,

 (c) apply proceeds to outstanding fees.

9.2 We will provide reasonable notice by email before disposal.

 

10. Communications and Data Protection

 

10.1 You consent to receive communications from us relating to your storage agreement, payments, and access via email, phone, or text.

10.2 We process your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

10.3 Your details will never be sold or shared with third parties except as required for legal or operational reasons (e.g. payment processing or law enforcement).

 

11. Governing Law

 

This Agreement is governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

12. Acceptance

 

By proceeding with a purchase, payment, or confirmation of booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding contract with P30 Properties Ltd t/a Worcestershire Self Storage.
